Our client, a leading Food Manufacturing Supplier, in the Scarborough, Ontario, is currently looking for a full-time permanent Maintenance Millwright with solid experience in the Food or Manufacturing sector.

Job: Lead Maintenance/ Maintenance Millwright

Pay: $40 - 45/hr. + Benefits.

Location: Scarborough, Ontario

Job Requirements

• 433A Industrial Millwright certificate required (with mechanical experience).
• Performs duties of millwright as required including pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems and tools.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Minimum of 3-5 year's previous experience in food or manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of TPM (Total Productivity Manufacturing) would be a definite asset

Job Responsibilities

• To work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Communicate effectively with outside vendors and equipment manufacturers.
• To maintain, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and share knowledge of applicable mechanical concepts and principles with other maintenance personnel.
• To respond quickly to any calls from production to keep equipment operational and ensure production runs smoothly.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks as scheduled and report results
• To make sure all food safety standards are followed.
• Perform special projects from time to time as assigned in a cost effective and timely manner.
