Medical Lab Technologist - Chemistry Supervisor

The Laboratory Supervisor will oversee the workflow of the Chemistry Department. The day shift is flexible with a start time of your choosing between 9-11am.

Responsibilities:

• Liaison with management and directors/consultants.
• Maintains proper documentation of quality control tests and results including equipment maintenance.
• Ensures that SOPs are current, available and all employees are trained in procedures
• Supplies and equipment, health and safety, training, quality control and assurance.
• Staffing, scheduling, coaching, and performance reviews; Organizes workflow and ensures that laboratory employees understand and perform their tasks efficiently and effectively

Qualifications:

• Current registration with the CMLTO
• Knowledge of legislation, regulations (including PIPEDA and PHIPA) and accreditation requirements.
• 5+ years working as a MLT in Chemistry; with 3+ years in a supervisory capacity
