The Successful Candidate Can Expect To Perform The Following

• Develop and maintain an effective business relationship with Westinghouse customers
• Select, integrate and test hardware and software components including embedded computers, cameras, lasers, controllers and networking devices.
• Design and implement control software specific to customer and project requirements.
• Prepare and review technical documentation including design requirements and test plans.
• Grow and develop extensive technical expertise in Canada and international nuclear markets.
• Work with project managers and mechanical/electrical designers to solve problems.

Who You Are

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

• Strong understanding of control systems.
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
• May 2024 Graduate (or 2023 Graduates) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering Required.
• Prior Internship experience is a plus
• Minimum 3.0 GPA Required
• Experience with projects that follow IEEE, CSA and/or ISO software engineering standards is an asset.
• Proficient in C#/.NET, C/C++ and/or Python.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with software version control (git).
• Self-motivated and highly organized.
• Experience with industrial controls (PLC, HMI) and microcontrollers is an asset.
• Prior experience with software development, preferably with system integration within an industrial environment.
