What You Will Be Doing
Oversees a group of engineers that are in charge of the design, development, and testing of all mechanical components of seismic acquisition equipment, such as housings, test fixtures, production fixtures, cables, portable carriers, etc. Control the engineering team's workload, products, and atmosphere.
Conduct interviews and hire engineers as necessary to expand the team or deal with turnover. instruct and guide engineers and other support personnel. Conduct evaluations, offer comments, and offer career recommendations.
Coordinate with important parties to collect feedback on the product line, including Engineering, Field Service, Repair, Marketing, Sales, and Customers.
Create fresh concepts for designs while working in a group. Utilize simulation tools or physical demonstrators to test design concepts. Keep any design reviews that come from such actions on hold. Present yourself

When submitting a contract bid or presenting design proposals, make presentations to senior design management or clients. Support the creation and maintenance of engineering budget and schedule projections.
Conduct and oversee structural analysis simulations that take into account every component of the system.
Tell engineering teams from third parties how to carry out their duties.
Develop and use engineering methods and techniques. complete documentation, including but not restricted to engineering change notices, waivers of deviations, and NPR's
Assist the mechanical engineering team in understanding and directing organizational processes for the ISO9001 quality and ISO45001 environmental management systems relating to design, manufacture, and test controls.
What You Need for this Position
10+ years of experience as an engineer.
Strong experience managing teams.
Strong mechanical aptitude, demonstrated leadership in team management and daily planning, and the capacity to apply creativity and invention to address complicated issues.
Comprehensive understanding of mechanical design and analysis, including FEA (Finite Element Method), GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance), and thermal conditions
Knowledge of effective product commercialization. To translate drawings into finished goods, one must possess a thorough understanding of cost-effective production techniques. One must also possess the ability to be results-driven while successfully managing both direct and indirect reporting.
Exhibits effective interpersonal skills and professional communication, problem-solving, and self-management abilities. excellent written and vocal communication skills in English
