What we expect
Your Responsibilities
  • Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and systems
  • Support local and organization’s quality improvement initiatives
  • Create and maintain engineering drawings.
  • Support designed products during the product life cycle.
  • Work with other departments to troubleshoot engineering related issues
  • Produce specifications for, design, develop, manufacture and install new or modified mechanical components or systems
  • Provide Engineering/Design support/solutions to other departments
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Work with local authorities having jurisdiction in achieving product and installation code compliance
Who we are looking for
Your Qualifications
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; coupled by, relevant experience
  • Must possess the Professional Engineer Certification for Ontario
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in application of engineering concepts
  • Ability to analyze/interpret data and take appropriate action
