Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the manufacturing industry. As a permanent member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems and processes to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency. You will work closely with our production team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that will enhance our manufacturing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues as they arise
• Conduct QA/QC inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Provide technical support to production team as needed
• Create and modify mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Maintain accurate documentation of all design and development activities
• Ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to budget and timeline constraints
• Design and develop mechanical systems and processes using Solidworks and CAD software
• Collaborate with production team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions

Qualifications

• Experience with welding and fabrication techniques
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
• Proficiency in Solidworks and CAD software
• MUST have a Professional Engineering license and be able to sign off on Canadian Engineering documents
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of electrical schematics and systems
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
