Electro Mechanical Engineer Jobs

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the maintenance manager, the electromechanic oversees the assembly, prevention, maintenance, and repair of production

equipment and buildings.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

1. Perform electrical, electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, welding and plumbing work related to

the assembly, maintenance, installation and/or repair of production equipment and buildings;

2. Run patches on factory machines;

3. Responsible for troubleshooting and solving problems of production teams and their peripherals;

4. Respond to service calls and put machines back into operation as soon as possible;

5. Work with SIEMENS and ALLEN BRADLEY PLCs and ensure their maintenance;

6. See to the proper functioning, optimization of tools and control equipment;

7. Install, modify, repair or change parts of automated devices as needed;

8. Perform work on hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems;

9. Read system plans;

10. Ensure repairs on schedule;

11. Participate in the maintenance of production tools;

12. Install, align, dismantle and move fixed industrial machinery;

13. Strictly respect the quality and safety standards set in the execution of all tasks;

14. Comply with HACCP standards, the SQF program, hygiene and sanitation as required;

15. Respect the quality assurance program

16. Comply with health and safety instructions;

17. Perform all other related tasks.

Job Requirements

1. Diploma of vocational studies or certificate of professional specialization or certificate of college studies or diploma of college studies in electromechanics of automated systems;

2. Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a highly automated work environment;

3. Experience with SIEMENS and ALLEN BRADLEY robots;

4. Good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and electricity;

5. MIG and TI welding;

6. Must have the tools necessary to complete the job;

7. C license (an asset);

8. Bilingualism- MUST SPEAK FRENCH

9. Knowledge of Fanuc and ABB robots will be an asset.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

1. Be able to lift/handle 5 kg and more;

2. Ability to work in an environment where the temperature varies (cold/hot);

3. Availability and flexibility during busier periods: overtime.
