We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team here at The Vancouver Club. As the Marketing Coordinator, you will use your creative and analytical skills, plus a passion for storytelling, to communicate the Club experience to existing members, future members and private clients. You will collaborate with the award-winning VC team to create and execute marketing strategies highlighting the unique benefits and experiences of the Club via print materials and a variety of digital platforms, on time and on budget. This role requires a flexible work schedule to be maintained, which includes evenings, weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain the VC content library.
• Plan and coordinate photo and video shoots to grow the VC content library.
• Update and manage the website, Shopify store and online member platform.
• Create member e-blasts with compelling copy, engaging content from the VC content library and strong calls to action.
• Perform all other duties as required.
• Under the direction of the Manager, will work closely with all departments to create an effective communication strategy and calendar.
• Update and design print and digital marketing materials.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a professional appearance and manner, a gracious attitude and the ability to interact with diverse groups as well as the ability to build strong relationships within the Club and community.
• Experience with WordPress, Adobe Creative Cloud and email marketing software.z
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Formal education in marketing preferred.
• Computer Knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word).
• Strong graphic design skills and ability to create a wide variety of print and digital collateral in support of Club campaigns, projects and events.
• Strong copywriting skills.
• Previous marketing experience, preferably with private club, hospitality or luxury brands.
• Will be required to maintain a flexible work schedule which may include some evenings and weekends.
