Description
Ferguson Construction Company is a tight-knit, family-oriented, premier Commercial and Industrial General Contractor with offices located in Sidney, Dayton, and Columbus, Ohio and Indianapolis, Indiana. Ferguson is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and detailed individual to lead their Marketing and Communications efforts. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, has a strong sense of urgency and is enthusiastic with a 'can-do' attitude. This position will require regular, periodic travel between each of the four offices and to work with each office to support their objectives while maintaining corporate branding & consistency.
The Marketing & Communications Manager could be based at our headquarters office in Sidney, Ohio, or be based in one of our regional offices in Dayton, Columbus or (east of) Indianapolis. This position will work with and coordinate with our in-house Senior Graphic Designer, and also manage 3rd party service providers.
The candidate should be competent in handling or managing the following areas:
  • Brand Management/Brand Consistency
  • Social Media Management
  • Content creation in Client Proposals and support to Business Development efforts
  • Digital/Print/Media Advertising
  • Photography and Management of the Company's Photo Library
  • Website Management
  • Manage and coordinate with 3rd party partners when additional or specialty resources required.
  • Authorship of employee communications, intranet development, and close coordination with HR
  • Press Releases
  • Professional representation at external and community events
  • SEO
  • Coordination of Events including Groundbreakings, Ribbon Cuttings, Community Outreach, etc.
  • Internal and External Corporate Communications
Qualifications
  • Three years of comparable experience.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related degree preferred
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Lightroom
Salary to be commensurate with education and experience.
