Your opportunity

We’re looking for a Marketing Analyst to join our Canada Marketing Team in Mississauga, ON. The Marketing Analyst-Coordinator is an integral part of the Cooper Lighting Canada Marketing team focusing primarily on supporting the Lighting Solutions product lines and business. The role will also coordinate our Retail business activities in the Canadian market, working closely with our Retail partners, internal supply chain and the USA based Retail team. Overall, this role entails working closely with both Marketing and Sales teams to grow our business and deepen our understanding of the markets in which we sell. ll.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze the key market drivers for the Lighting Solutions Retail business through market surveys, voice of customer activities and macro-economic data.
• Coordinate all merchandising store deployment with merchandising providers’, representatives and sales team. Manage all timelines for special Retail projects from inception through to delivery/shipment and maintenance
• Measure the effectiveness of promotional activities, provide recommendations for expanded or new opportunities and coordinate on implementation of changes.
• Utilize a variety of analytical tools, including Power Pivot, Analytics for Office, SAP, customer POS data and external data like to identify market trends, gaps and growth opportunities.
• Provide coordination and support for other marketing activities and initiatives as required.

What You’ll Need

• Self-starter, proactive, task oriented with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
• Experience working within a team environment (marketing preferred), preferably in a business-to-business customer environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Teams. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite an asset. Valid driver's license required.
• A university or college degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Bilingual and/or knowledge of print production and substrates is an asset.
