Founding partners Michael and Stacey are looking for a Manager or Senior Manager who is ready to play an integral part of their client engagement team. We offer a continuous learning environment and team-based approach to client engagements. You will be collaborating with experienced professionals and will continuously develop a varied skill set to help you be a trusted advisor to clients.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
·Managing and leading compilation & review engagements for small to medium businesses.
·Reviewing tax returns, including corporate, personal, trust, and GST/HST returns prepared by junior staff, and providing meaningful feedback.
·Performing technical research and documenting tax planning recommendations.
·Creating training materials and leading client/staff training sessions
·Preparation of client reporting packages & meeting with client to review results.
·Provide personal, attentive service to clients to encourage productive working relationships.
·Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to help them grow and excel in their roles.
·Contribute to the development and implementation of firm-wide policies, procedures, and quality control processes.
·Completion of other accounting, assurance, advisory and tax related duties as required.
What you bring to this role:
·Post-secondary education (college or university) in accounting.
·Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in assurance and tax, preferably in a managerial or senior role.
·A professional accounting designation (CPA) is required.
·Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting and tax principles, standards, and regulations.
·Excellent understanding of financial reporting frameworks (specifically ASPE and Canadian tax legislation).
·Proven experience in managing and leading assurance and tax engagements.
·Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional client service.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial and tax concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
·Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of successfully mentoring and developing staff.

Compensation
We value you and what you can do and offer a competitive compensation package based on experience & qualifications, with an estimated salary range of $70,000 - $120,000.
