Manager, It Procurement Jobs

As the Manager, IT Procurement, you will be responsible for researching and evaluating prospective vendors while also assisting in vendor selection, management, and performance evaluations.
What You'll Be Doing

• Negotiate suppliers’ price, quality of goods, and deadlines
• Monitor orders through all stages to completion
• Automate workflow within the procurement module of our ERP
• Manage a team of Procurement Specialists (Sourcing & Vendor Relationship)
• Work with Accounting team regarding invoicing and payments
• Work closely with internal teams to understand procurement needs
• Update and maintain contracts
• Create purchase orders and tally these with supply requests and orders
• Research and evaluate prospective vendors
• Update and monitor hardware and software inventory

Must Haves
What you'll need to be successful:

• A minimum of 1-2 years of supervision experience
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and rapport building
• Experience of at least one ERP with procurement modules (SAP, ServiceNow, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of the IT industry and market conditions
• 3-5 experience working as an IT procurement specialist
• Vocational studies or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain Management, IT Management, Computer Science, Finance, Law, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
