Job Description

Integris is searching for a permanent, full-timeManager, Desktop & Application Delivery.This role will work out of our Corporate Office in Prince George, BC or for the ideal candidate, we would consider a remote role within our operating region .This would be a great role for a Helpdesk specialist or Junior Leader wanting to move into a Managerial role.


Acting as asubject matter expertin theVMWare Horizon Infrastructure,the Manager, Desktop & Application Delivery leads the Helpdesk team to ensure delivery of excellent service to meet the unique needs of Integris end-users. The successful candidate will be committed to proactively building relationships with end-users to understand user expectations. Also, as the Tier 3 Helpdesk technician, this role will manage issues to resolution while providing leadership to their direct reports.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day performance and work of direct reports
  • Maintain high performance level for service-related processes and implement improvement activities
  • Proactively build relationships with end users to understand users needs and expectations
  • Mentor and lead a team of IT Professionals, while fostering a culture of life-long learning and development
  • Accountable for service delivery performance and meeting end-user expectations
  • Monitor and manage desktop support, Helpdesk, and VMWare support functions


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Helpdesk experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory or leadership role
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • VMWare Professional Certification is considered an asset; or,
  • Post-secondary education focused in Information Technology
