Maintenance Clerk - Available Any Time

Loblaw Companies Limited is now accepting resumes for a part-time Maintenance person. This position involves all aspects of building and equipment maintenance, priorities may include ensuring the efficient and smooth operations of the battery charger area, cleanliness of the shop, and the proper maintenance and sanitation of the warehouse. We are looking for an energetic, motivated individuals who work well in a fast-paced environment, can provide a streamline workflow, and ensure due diligence has taken place in all tasks that are performed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Any other duties as required
• Perform building maintenance and repairs as assigned
• Ensure building and equipment are kept up to date, clean, and operating to Loblaw standards
• Maintain battery area, ensuring all machines are rotated and ready to go for the next shift
• Comply with Loblaw Safety, Environmental, and Food Safety requirements
• Follow Preventative Maintenance schedule and delegate repairs of any and all equipment deficiencies that are uncovered during inspections
• Report and track all equipment issues and resolution through work orders

Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal skills and the desire to work in a team oriented environment
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
• Able to handle multiple priorities in a fast–paced environment
• Commitment to timelines, accuracy and quality at all times
• Ability to deal with colleague issues in a calm and proficient manner
• Solid understanding of mechanical skills and building repairs
