Machine Operator - Day Shift

Do you have a 'minimum 12 months of Machine Operator experience' Would you like to work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment in central Ajax?

Day shift : 6am -2:30pm, Monday to Friday. ($18.00 hr) -- No weekends!

Note: This role is for someone who wants to work 5 days per week, every week. If you are looking to work fewer than 5 days weekly, we may have a more suitable role for you elsewhere.

Responsibilities
What you will be doing?

• Set up materials for the machines
• Quality inspection of finished product and machine operation daily
• Operating manufacturing machines to roll, wrap and help produce materials to customer specifications
• Some lifting of up tp 40lb

Qualifications
What Skills do you bring?

• You are looking for permanent, ongoing work 5 days per week, you are reliable and show up for work on time each day.
• Have completed high school or GDE
• Ability to stand for much of the shift
• Reliability is key for our client and a good work ethic are very important traits to have. If yo do not plan to work 5 days per week, this job is not for you
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs when needed
• Good attitude and candidates who genuinely want to work and grow within
• Previous experience of at least '6 months' as a machine operator (will only consider those with some machine operations experience)
• Will consider those with experience in harder labour such as construction, roofing, hardscape, mechanic
