#NowHiring Belcan is currently hiring for a logistics analyst in Oshawa Ontario, for a 12 month renewable contract. You will be ensuring that suppliers for our customer have returnable packaging in a timely and efficient matter to meet our customer production demands. This job will travel 30% with a passport needed.


Responsibilities:


* Data and cost analysis to resolve issues and suggest process improvements

* Determining root cause of container shortage issues

* Maintaining active relationships with plant material and floor leadership and personnel to aide in resolving issues

* Communication and collaboration with containerization HQ and suppliers to support problem resolution


Qualifications:


* 2-3 years experience in Supply Chain / Logistics related field or equivalent Bachelor"s degree

* Proficient with Microsoft Excel

* Outstanding collaborator and communicator

* Valid Passport with ability to travel 30%.


Desired but not required skills:

* Knowledge of transportation field and modes
