Manage and develop departmental team with a focus on guiding diagnostic problem solving and effective decision making

Mentor, coach, counsel, train and lead all assigned personnel.

Prepares and implements the Total Productive Maintenance plan

Estimate and schedule down time for repairs/rebuilds and new installations.

Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other areas

Establish and ensure adherence to maintenance schedules (preventive and otherwise)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

Leverage SAP / Scale Manhattan knowledge and experience to integrate transportation processes with the broader supply chain and financial systems.

Proficient in using transportation management systems, Connectship with a demonstrated ability to navigate and extract meaningful information from these platforms.

Knowledge of transportation industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, carriers, and suppliers to gather relevant data and requirements, ensuring seamless transportation operations.

Knowledge of SAP , Scale Manhattan and XPS (SCT Software) is preferred.

Desire to enhance skills and knowledge to develop as a Gerdau employee

Follow all of the established Gerdau safety, environmental, and routine procedures specific to the yard

Inspect incoming scrap against quality and environmental standards with a progression towards grading and purchasing scrap material

Apply deductions to non-conforming materials through effective communication with the scale house or yard inspector

Perform and document daily Routine Equipment Care (REC)

Detect and report faulty tools, equipment, environmental hazards, and safety hazards to a supervisor

Knowledge or experience in medical terminology an asset

Proficient in the operation of a personal computer in a networked environment using computer software and data entry skills

With direction from Coordinators, sending Service Offers for NP service

Two to three years of relevant administrative office experience

Knowledge of office systems, procedures and business practices

Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Consistently manage the inventory stock level by performing daily perpetual parts counts, and reporting discrepancies

Escalate parts issues from internal or external suppliers in collaboration with Service Manager and Regional Manager

Additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs

A minimum of 3 years of relevant automotive parts experience

High School Diploma/GED or Relevant work experience

Specific vision abilities required including ability to identify parts, operate systems, and identify potential safety hazards in the parts department

Demonstrated experience analyzing and resolving data process management issues

Post secondary education or equivalent industry experience.

Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required.

Must possess excellent communication skills for liaising and communicating with vendors, customers, and internal departments.

Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills.

You have at least 3 years of leadership and or supervisory experience leading a in a customer experience based store environment.
