About the Role
We are searching for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Lead Generation Specialist to help build a high-quality community and selection of artworks within the app.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role focuses primarily on building a solid foundation of art world information from existing accounts to potential artist prospects. This art world, data-focused role generates the email and contact information, stores and manages data, automates outreach, and populates content data.
Your Responsibilities
Lead Generation
- Build and maintain a database (Hubspot CRM) of potential artists contacts through online research and data mining.
- Conduct regular audits of the lead database to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Develop and execute effective strategies to generate high-quality leads.
- Work collaboratively with the Supply team to funnel, triage, elevate potential artist leads to the relevant sales team members.
- Identify and act on opportunities to conduct outreach via social media.
- Maintain and track lead generation metrics to optimize and improve the lead generation process.
- Use email marketing and automation tools to initiate contact and generate leads.
Account Creation
- Populate the Peggy app with relevant information, including data entry of artist CV details and artwork descriptions.
- Populate HubSpot CRM with relevant information, including contact details and location.
Community Monitor
- Wear many hats, e.g. on an ad hoc basis assisting with artist onboarding calls, fingerprinting training, etc
- Monitor and moderate user activity, ensuring a healthy environment that meets Peggy’s ethical expectations.
- Prioritize, triage, and streamline Hubspot and Zendesk inbounds from artists, galleries, and collectors.
- Use your skills to help the Demand team generate lists of collectors and collector influencers (e.g. interior designers, real estate agents, etc)
Your Profile
Peggy has a multi-faceted team composed of various backgrounds and experiences, from technology to the traditional art world, with the unified goal of making art available in every home. For this supply-focused role includes but is not limited to the following:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage and organize data.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- 2+ years of experience in lead generation, CRM management, or similar roles.
- Experience in writing SQL queries is not required but would be a bonus.
- Proficiency in Google Spreadsheets (or Excel).
- Passion for contemporary art and desire to learn about the art world.
- Experience in data analysis, quantitative modelling, and presenting analytics would be a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and external client-facing interactions (e.g. artists).
- Experience using email marketing and automation tools.
