The Department of Bioengineering, under the supervision for Prof. Kinsella the Lab Helper will assist in the preparation of BIEN 290 course.
Position Summary

• Calibrating and performing measurements on instruments
• Provide a detailed and reproducible protocol for all experiments/reagents, and drafting templates for lab reports
• Assist in performing laboratory test and experiment related content of BIEN 290 course
• Coordinating with instrument manufacturers for minor instrument repair, trouble shooting upon need.
• Collects and enters data into established inventory databases. Updates manuals/datasheets as required.
• Catalogs laboratory material and or equipment.
• Prepare pre lab activities

Other Qualifying Skills And/or Abilities

• Knowledge of SOP and lab guides
• Bachelor degree
• Experience in bioengineering and life science equipment, software, and laboratory skills
• Good writing skills
