JUNIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Responsibilities

• Development of Microquest’s software systems, Healthquest, dr2dr , Web development (Healthquest Online, etc.)
• Tier 3 technical support
• Mobile development (iOS, Android, etc.)
• Participate in daily stand ups and weekly sprints to get bugs fixed and features released to our users.
• Liaison with the Quality Assurance team and assure them that it works on your machine so it must be something wrong on their end.
• Member of the “SPOC” team
• Collaborate with your team to make a user experience customers love.
• Provide beta support to client sites trying out new functionality programmed by the developer
• Documentation (ISO and otherwise) of new features/projects

Qualifications

• A willingness to learn and adopt new ideas and technologies
• Proficient with React and PowerBuilder
• Follow best coding practices
• Familiarity with Version Control System (VCS) concepts (e.g., Git)
• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical degree
• Knowledge and experience with Agile Development practices experience building and maintaining high availability web applications
• Knowledge of SQL queries and relational databases development, including Node.js, RESTful services and REST design
• Self-motivated with ability to manage yourself independently
• .NET environment development/administration
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
