Responsibilities

• Participate in code reviews and use feedback (both for you and others) to learn coding conventions, best practices, and new patterns.
• Learn the architecture and best practices for the applications the team maintains.
• Be proactive about increasing technical and domain knowledge.
• Be responsible for the construction of application components.
• Collaborate with others to develop solutions to help achieve business goals.

Knowledge/Behavior

• Has strong coding fundamentals: writes code that is concise, well documented, and well thought through. Result of code reviews should focus on optimizations, minor logic errors, and best practices/conventions - no fundamental flaws in approach.
• Works collaboratively with others. Interested in solving problems. Open to new perspectives.
• Is actively seeking to gain new knowledge about technology, process, environments, and business domain.
• Is proficient in at least one or more relevant programming languages. Is working to become familiar and comfortable with the languages and frameworks used by the team.
