The High Performance Computing Data Solutions team at Shared Services Canada (SSC) is looking for candidates to fill 1 or 2 vacant positions.

Our SSC team is providing specialized IT services to the

Canadian Space Agency mission operation centre is looking for candidates which:

• Possess knowledge of system administration (Linux and Windows); and/or Possess knowledge of network, virtualization and storage systems;
• Think outside the box;
• Propose ideas and creative solutions;
• Are willing to innovate;
• Are open-minded;

You will be called to work in a stimulating environment

and to take part in supporting the operations of the Canadarm2 on board the

international space station and other future space exploration programs (Moon

and Mars)

The position requires to:

• Work on-site at the Canadian Space Agency during real-time operations support;
• Willingness and ability to come to the office (6767 route de l’aéroport, St-Hubert) within one hour of a call-back;
• Willingness and ability to do overtime;
• Obtain and maintain a secret security clearance;
• Willingness and ability to work 24/7 on-call status;
• Work in a bilingual environment (BBB/BBB);
