Investment Services Analyst Jobs

JOB STATEMENT:

The Investment Services Analyst will be a key contributor to the Partnerships and Business Development team and will contribute to the growth of the Worldsource Dealers by using data, analytics and research in order to help all of the wealth management entities understand industry trends, product developments and consumer behavior to manage and create existing and new programs. The incumbent will act in the best interests of the firm and meet corporate, departmental and advisor business objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Analysis

• Researching and compiling industry and consumer data in order to assist the Dealers create strategic and tactical programs that help meet the Dealers’ strategic growth and development;
• Conducting Product Due Diligence (including the issuance of new security issues) and analysis in order to help the Dealers meet their Know Your Product Requirement;
• Engaging research partners and senior stakeholders and work to create Business Intelligence and Analytics that can be used to engage both internal and external stakeholders.
• Using data and research learnings to become a thought leader within the organization in order to keep internal stakeholders informed of the direction of the market place and to provide education to both internal and external stakeholders; and

Programs

Assisting in the creation, maintenance and promotion of the Dealers:

• Separately Managed account Program;
• Education program.
• Fee Based Program;
• Unified Managed Account;
• Investment Tools; and

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of CSC, CIM and or enrollment in the CFA program
• Strong communication, presentation and listening skills
• Post-secondary education
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel) and advanced analytical skills
• Familiarity with broker dealer operations and systems (Dataphile) is an asset
• 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry
• Dedicated team player with the ability to take initiative and work independently
