We are hiring an INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST !!! Do you have a background in Inventory Management with experience processing material requirement planning? This role is a CAMP position located near Cochrane, Ontario on a 14/14 rotation This role is a long term position.

Position Summary:

This role is a member of the Supply Chain Team and will manage all aspects of Inventory Management, as detailed below.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE or tasks*

Process Materials Requirement Planning Lists (MRP)

  • Plan and manage long lead time items as required
  • Track and follow up with end users for repairable items after work orders are completed
  • Ensure that no duplicate PREQ are out for materials at once
  • Run MRP list daily and flip planned orders to purchase requisitions (PREQ)

Process creations and updates to PSIP materials

  • Create any needed materials for Toromont-PSIP part store to facilitate ordering through SAP
  • Review updates to PSIP material pricing, and update info records daily

Facilitate the repairable items process

  • Update goods out board and communicate with the warehouse technicians/logistics coordinator
  • Review PM04 items coming back for repair with material planners
  • Create PREQ with all supporting information, to be flipped to PO
  • Track, and follow up with end users, when a repairable piece is TECO’d on the respective Work Order

Review Inventory Creation Forms

  • Review any created ICF’s daily, and approve if deemed necessary
  • Review consumption rates for min/max request changes and approve/complete if deemed necessary
  • Create materials once final approvals are obtained

Manage consignment inventory settlements

  • Run, and deliver settlements to Accounts Payable, as well as the appropriate end users
  • Complete the counting and reconciliation of consignment materials, when required

Handle Fuel Reconciliation

  • Provide weekly fuel consumption reports to Warehouse Supervisor
  • Service Receiving, in SAP, for Fuel Delivery BOL’s
  • Reconcile physical and system levels during month end procedures
  • Ensure SAP and ProFuel program levels match daily

Manage reporting requirements

  • Provide accurate month/year end reports to a multitude of end users, based on company needs
  • Fulfil specialty reports to end users
  • Send and receive obsolescence data, facilitate the smooth transition of materials to be removed from inventory

Assist in cycle count audits

  • Ensure all items are counted during the year by providing data and targets to the Warehouse Supervisor
  • Process list of differences, and investigate when needed
