Plan and manage long lead time items as required

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE or tasks*

Process Materials Requirement Planning Lists (MRP)

Opportunity to train and work with industry leading companies

Run MRP list daily and flip planned orders to purchase requisitions (PREQ)

Ensure that no duplicate PREQ are out for materials at once

Travel daily in your company-provided automobile to support the implementation of Vendor Managed Inventory programs at customer locations in your territory.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Supply chain and process improvement experience preferred

Customer service experience, including one year of related industry experience preferred

Relevant military experience a plus

Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist

One year of experience in Healthcare, Supply Chain or Materials Management preferred.

Runs appropriate reports to identify supply issues that need addressing and, where appropriate, presents solutions and reporting metrics to management.

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience.

Demonstrates the skills and competencies necessary to safely perform the assigned job, determined through on-going skills, competency assessments, and performance evaluations

Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.

Secondary School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent and 3 years work related experience.

Hands on experience with MS Office and inventory databases

Experience working with First Nations, or an Indigenous organization is an asset

Knowledge of First Nations culture and worldview is a definite asset

Ability to deal with management and elected officials

Experience and formal training combined with demonstrated performance and ability may substitute for stipulated academic requirements.

Strong data-entry, retrieval and keyboarding skills

Strong interpersonal and communications skills (in person, on the phone, electronically, and in writing)

Various legislation as it relates to billing and collection

Build and maintain Inventory valuation, Inventory aging reports for management review.

Plan, execute and manage purchase orders with vendors to ensure raw material availability according to the forecast.

Manage vendor relations, provide forecasts to vendors on VMI contracts.

Calculate the raw material requirements using the Bill of Materials and forecasted sales for the period.

Minimum 3 years of experience in Inventory & Procurement

Advanced Excel & Business Central user. Preferably had experience going through ERP implementation.

Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Manage the systems (3PL Central).

Knowledge of 3PL Central an asset.

Leads the customer onboarding process.

Leads the cycle counts and inventories.

Leads the technological development of the systems to be an industry leader.
