Your Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for plant costing of all products:
• Reporting to local and regional management
• Understand the different types of costing, when they are used and the cost drivers that affect them.
• During the Order Generation Process (OGP), perform costing activities to complete the Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
• Recommending budget targets in the Plant Cost Report (PCR) and lead activities to address deviations to targets.
• During the Product Development Process (PDP), perform activities in launching new products and supporting the Initial Order Process (IOP) such as creating and setting up Master Data.
• Proactively check actual cost drivers (cycle time, OEE, man-to-machine ratio) vs. the standards in ERP system (SAP). Interact with production shop floor to resolve discrepancies.
• Perform Manufacturing Planning (MP) activities in the plant throughout the product life cycle according to the Schaeffler procedures:

Your Qualifications

• Experience in costing and quoting
• Previous experience in a related position is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Working knowledge of PC's and applicable software (Working knowledge of SAP is an asset).
• Post-Secondary education in the following fields i.e., Engineering, Business, Finance or related field.
• Ability to work independently, detail-oriented and task focused.
