Morning

• ( 07 AM to 03.30 PM )

Afternoon ( 40 Hours in 4 days )

• (03.15 PM TO 01.00 AM) ( Thursday)
• (03.15 PM to 2. 00 AM )( Monday to Wednesday),

Pay Rate: $30-$35/hr

Job Responsibilities :

• Assist a Licensed Electrician in the repair of electrical controls and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Wire new control panels according to drawings and verbal instructions, considering Hydro codes and applicable standards and regulations.
• Replace and repair electronic wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Replace and repair electric and electronic components such as motors, contractors, relays, timers, switches, PLCs, light curtains, and motor controls.
• Utilize various PLC programming devices and software to modify and read logic control programs.
• Adhere to the standards and rules described in the Employee Handbook, demonstrating leadership, concern, and a strong work ethic to ensure a safe work environment.

Job Qualification :

• Must have completed 1st or 2nd year of Apprenticeship
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Completion of the Electrical Pre-Apprenticeship program is considered an asset
• Enrolled in 309 A or 442 A
• Must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or ministry-approved equivalent.
• Must have at least 2-3 yrs of experience as electrician.
