Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Management System Integration, the Improvement and Change Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Integrated Management System (IMS) process and systems improvement planning and associated change management activities in support of NexGen’s Rook I Project (Project). This role will work closely with the IMS team as well as process owners and stakeholders across the NexGen Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ); Permitting; Project Development; and Exploration teams.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor the progress of the change plan and continual improvement activities and provide timely support, as required.
  • Ensure effective execution of improvement and change objectives within the IMS core processes (e.g., objectives and targets, management review, continual improvement, process identification and development, change management, and training) through support of process facilitation and coordination of monitoring activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Provide reporting on change management and continual improvement key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide change management guidance and subject matter expertise to the Project organization.
  • Coordinate the development and implementation of change management and continual improvement processes, documentation, and training as well as participate in the provision of training, as required.
  • Support process owners in developing fit-for-purpose change plans for their respective workflows and areas of responsibility.



Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and provide coordination across multiple disciplines.
  • Strong digital literacy using the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), with a preference for fields of study that emphasize understanding people and systems (e.g., social sciences).
  • Working knowledge of quality or integrated management systems.
  • 3-5 years of direct experience with change management, ideally within the mining, energy, engineering, or heavy industry sectors is considered an asset.
  • ProSci (or equivalent) change management training required (certification preferred).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
