HR Business Partners work with teams, managers and key stakeholders to help build organisation and people capability, and shape and implement effective people strategies and activities within Pigment. They need to have an excellent understanding of the organisation, its strategy and customers, and a very good understanding of the people challenges faced by the organisation.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement effective People practices that will support the strategic growth of a business
  • Support, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals
  • Develop people strategies and design approaches for diagnosing, building, and enhancing organizational effectiveness, cohesiveness, and employee satisfaction
  • Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution


Activities:


  • Strategic alignment and planning through partnerships:
  • Optimizing organizational design to increase productivity and improve performance of the business
  • Provide timely information and/or education for all levels of a company on People priorities
  • Strategic workforce planning: ensure the company’s workforce has the right size, shape, cost, and agility for the future
  • Succession planning and risk management: help select and develop key talent to ensure there are strong pigmenauts to fill in critical roles while also identifying key risk areas to the business on a talent basis
  • Reskilling and upskilling: identify training needs and assist the L&D function in aligning training programs with business objectives
  • Conduct weekly or bi-weekly meetings with business leaders and provide HR advice where necessary
  • Influencing and building relationships with people around the business
  • Analyze and interpret various types of employee reports (e.g., compensation, job levels, and attrition) to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions to their client group


Lead core people processes through coaching:


  • Provide guidance on the creation and implementation of HR processes and policies
  • Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals
  • Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution
  • Point to HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, and organizational development
  • Provide timely information and/or education for all levels of a company on People priorities
  • Acting as a local point of people expertise for specialist teams that are implementing new people approaches
  • Educate team members on people principles such as performance feedback, growth, learning, etc


Build a high performing organisation:


  • Conducting day-to-day performance management guidance to line managers (for example mentoring, career planning, coaching, etc.)
  • Participate in the continual development of People programs, such as recruiting, retention, compensation, benefits, and Learning & Development
  • Helping line managers deal with organizational, people, and change-related issues
  • Assisting in developing a future-proof compensation and benefits strategy
  • Provide advice and suggestions for culture-related initiatives, such as cultural transformation
  • Partner with Learning & Development to work on value-added programs in areas of training, development, career mobility, and job performance
  • Working together with management and personnel to solve conflicts and help facilitate positive employee relations, maintain a good working environment, build morale, and decrease unwanted turnover
  • Collaborating with other People team members on implementing innovative and inclusive recruitment strategies


Who you are:


  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A commercially minded individual who has operated in frontline roles and hence understands the demands of day-to-day business and CoE type HR positions (Ulrich model)
  • A self-starter and problem solver
  • Humble, collaborative, and action-driven
  • Prior experience as an HRBP, talent management, or HR consulting role
  • Highly resilient and able to handle ambiguity
  • Prior experience in a hyper-growth organisation or one that has gone through significant change and transformation
  • Fluent in English
