In your role as a HR Coordinator, you will be reporting to the Human Resources Manager directly and will successfully execute the recruitment needs for both Saskatoon and Regina branches. You will identify, source, and attract high performing candidates through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to build a strong and engaging workforce. You will also be responsible for labor / employee relations, implementing HR policies and procedures and other tasks as assigned.

What does a HR Coordinator in Saskatchewan do?


  • Uniform issuance and returns if needed.
  • Acquire an understanding of the client’s business and operating processes
  • Post job ads, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and hire a large number of candidates through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Conduct exit interviews with departing employees (if required)
  • Participate in career fairs, liaise with external agencies when required, and support employee referral programs.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Utilize existing recruitment and on-boarding processes and tools to effectively source, select and facilitate the hiring process.
  • Perform corrective actions and conduct discipline meetings.
  • Provide our clients with world class services by providing strong candidates.
  • Assist in the grievance process.
  • Create employment offers letters, enter new hire details, as well as complete employment confirmation letters as requested.
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the Union through excellent communication.


Qualifications To Become a HR Coordinator In Saskatchewan


  • 2-3 years in a Customer Service role is an asset
  • Experience in the security industry will be an asset
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Access to a vehicle is an asset. Some travel may be required between branches.
  • 1-2-year experience in the HR field, ideally in a fast paced, client driven industry is an asset. Individuals that just completed their education will be equivalent to work experience
  • Strong written & verbal communications skills
  • An undergraduate degree, diploma or certificate, preferably in Business with a focus in Human Resources or a related discipline is required
