We are now looking for an HR Recruiting Coordinator to join our team to assist with the agency’s employee hiring, onboarding, compensation, record management and evaluation work, etc. If you are a organized, self starter who has extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and enjoys a busy work environment, this is the opportunity for you!!!


The Human Resources Recruiting Coordinator provides support to employees and management by supporting the Human Resources department. The HR Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for HR correspondence and reports, data entry, and generating and compiling HR related metrics and materials. The HR Recruiting Coordinator manages the personnel filing system including; filing and archiving. The HR Recruiting Coordinator is a key member in the effective delivery of human resource initiatives.


Qualifications


Education and Professional Certification


  • Certificate or diploma in human resources, business administration, or a related field of study.
  • Certified Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is an asset.


Experience


  • Minimum one (1) year of experience working in an office environment. Preference would be given to those who have experience working in human resources.
  • Experience working with various databases.
  • Experience working on computers with software packages including; Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Duties And Responsibilities


Services


  • Communicate with and establish professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage personnel filing system including; filing, tracking files, and archiving.
  • Enter and update employee information in HRIS and in other applicable databases.
  • Develop, maintain, and update human resources documentation and correspondence such as; reports, letters, forms, spreadsheets, employee handbooks, and training materials. Complete all documentation clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Prepare and maintain electronic personnel files.
  • Distribute documents, forms, reports, and correspondence to the appropriate person, department, or external stakeholders.
  • Assist the Human Resource Consultants in the recruitment and onboarding process including: reviewing and short-listing resumes, and completing reference checks.
  • Screen and direct calls for the department, take and relay messages.


Leadership


  • Ensure policies, procedures, and agency standards are being met.
  • Role model agency values and HR best practices.
  • Provide leadership and training to new employees, practicum students, and volunteers.


Management of Resources


  • Participate in the implementation of HR initiatives and ensure assigned projects are delivered within proposed timeframes and budgets.
  • Seek to improve processes and enhance services and efficiencies within the department and across the agency.


Safety


  • Adhere to written or verbal agency and government regulations, policies, practices, and instructions.
  • Maintain, promote, and reinforce safe work habits, practices, and procedures.


Additional Requirements


The incumbent is responsible for completing all mandatory training requirements for the position as per agency policy and guidelines.

Hourly range is $22.64 to $29.80, depending on experience.
