Groundskeeper - Temporary Jobs

Under the direction of the Site Leader and the Maintenance Manager, the Groundskeeper is responsible for the landscaping and lawn maintenance of the outdoor grounds. The responsibilities of the position include:

• Pulling and spraying weeds
• Maintaining landscaping equipment
• Cutting grass regularly to maintain 2" height
• Maintaining garden beds through edging and weeding
• Pruning shrubs, trimming bushes and adding fertilizer to maintain growth
• Cutting and maintaining the helthy growth of plants and grass

Available to work Monday to Friday or as scheduled by the Manager

Must Haves:

• Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
• All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check and provide proof of vaccination for COVID-19.
• WHMIS training and Occupational Health and Safety Certifications are assets.
• Eye for detail
• Relevant training and experience.

The successful applicant's wage will be based on relevant qualifications, training/education and experience.
