Browns Crafthouse Vic West is currently seeking a General Manager to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the business. They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as onboarding and hiring new team members. Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with the Head Chef to manage labour and food cost;
• Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained
• Provide leadership and direction to a team of people
• Overseeing all maintenance of decor and equipment;
• Creating shift schedules and managing labour costs;
• Promoting the location to increase sales and profitability.
• Manage operations and finances of business
• Creating long lasting relationships with guests;
• Analyzing financial statements,
• Drive development of employees
• Hiring, training and supervising staff,
• Connecting with the community through volunteering and fundraising

Required Skills & Experience:

• Management and Customer Service experience Strong administrative skills
• Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue and forecasting Strong communications skills
• An entrepreneurial spirit.
• Proven leadership and exceptional customer service skills;
• Corporate experience is any asset.
• 1-2 years as a General Manager in the restaurant industry;
• 5 years plus of cumulative experience in the restaurant industry;
• Demonstrated ability to lead
