The Mission Raceway Park has been operating since the 1950's. The raceway has a rich history of motorsports and continues to be a fundamental source for motorsports in British Columbia. The Raceway has been recently expanding its services providing Road Course, Drifting and Autocross services to the community. The General Manager at the Mission Raceway is an essential position to the success of the organization. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing staff, operations, events and other.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, improve, create, and implement processes designed to meet strategic goals including growth, customer experience, safety, and other metrics as determined in the strategic planning process.
• Uphold and create relationships with partners and regulatory bodies
• Frequent reporting to the executive committee
• Represent the Mission Raceway in industry events
• Manage staffing and scheduling
• Manage entire facility operations
• Coordinate and execute race day operations including working various groups and parties involved in track prep, safety, security and other

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing diverse teams/personnel.
• Ability to self-motivate and multi-task through both fast-paced and slow periods of the year.
• Strong desire to take initiative in resolving problems with creative solutions.
• Outstanding communication abilities.
• Facility management experience is preferred
• Proven event management experience
• Keen attention to detail while maintaining oversight of the big picture.
• Excellent customer service skills with proven experience in exceeding customer expectations while providing personalized service.
