General Cleaner / Shop Helper

Join our Team in our Chilliwack Office to help with daily operations inside that will include laundry, cleaning the shop and office and possibly filling in for deliveries and off site cleaning from time to time.

Shift -DAYTIME - UP TO 25 HOURS PER WEEK

• Tuesday - 4 to 5 hours starting 9:00 am
• Thursday - 4 to 5 hours starting 9:00 am
• Wednesday - 4 to 5 hours starting 9:00 am
• Friday - 4 to 5 hours starting at 9:00 am
• Monday - 4 hours starting at 9:00 am

Responsibilities and Duties

• Vacuuming
• Laundry - helping with the laundry for our Janitorial Department
• Emptying Garbage and recycling
• Dusting
• Refilling Dispensers
• Spot Cleaning of walls and glass
• Mopping
• Cleaning & Organizing - this would be cleaning of our office and bays
• Wet cleaning horizontal surfaces
• Cleaning of washrooms
• Fill ins - cleaning at some daytime accounts when required to cover shifts
• Deliveries - covering for our Delivery Driver is off sick or away, to help fill this need.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Works well independently and in a team environment
• Communicate in English both written and verbally
• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial setting is beneficial
• A valid drivers license
• Able to wear a backpack or hipvac vacuum
• Be physically capable of lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks
