Job Description
We are looking for an experienced General Laborers to join our and distribution team in Coquitlam, BC on a temporary to permanent full time basis.
Our distribution facility located in Port Coquitlam, BC is the global leader in formulating, producing, contract packaging and wholesale distribution of household and transportation fluids, we pride ourselves on our reputation for quality products and outstanding customer service from coast to coast. The General Laborer will be required to lift and stack 25 - 50lb box repeatedly for a production line. The ideal candidate for this role will bring previous experience in a fast paced like minded facility, can meet the physical requirements, comfortable with repetitive duties and can work both independently or in a team setting with minimal supervision.
We are currently needing laborers who are available for shift changes between afternoons and nights.
We do offer wage premiums on alternative shifts and lots of company growth opportunities for you to take advantage of!
Location: Port Coquitlam, BC
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Afternoon Shift: 4:00PM – 12:00AM // $19.00 + $1.50/H (shift premium)
Night Shift: 12:00AM - 8:00AM // $19.00 + $3.00/H (shift premium)
This is a full-time position with an immediate start date

Responsibilities
  • Lift and stack 25 - 50lb box repeatedly for a production line
  • Repetitive manual labor
  • Producing 2 boxes a minute throughout entirety of shift
  • Maintain and operate equipment in a safe manner
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures
  • Packing and stacking boxes on pallets
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment; daily organization
Qualifications
You bring previous experience in a like-minded fast paced facility or position
Can meet physical requirements of the role; ability to carry, lift, move product/supplies in excess of 50lbs; can stand, push, bend and lift for 8 hours
You are comfortable with 90% manual labor and flexible to support where needed
You have strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude when working individually or as a team
Are great at communicating with others in both verbal and written format
The right candidate will have a positive attitude, up beat energy and is comfortable to be trained on new processes
You are reliable and looking to work 40 hours a week
You can meet the schedule and shift requirements as this would be mandatory
You have Steel Toe Boots; all other PPE provided
You are legally permitted to work full-time in British Columbia and are located in the Port Coquitlam region
