Ray-Mont Logistics is currently seeking a full-time permanent Maintenance Welder/ General Laborer to join its vibrant team. Successful candidates will reflect Ray-Mont’s core values: Quality, Flexibility, Performance, Commitment, Attitude and Innovation.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
• 40 hours per week with occasional weekends and overtime.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assisting the maintenance team with general maintenance and preventative maintenance duties
• Cleaning of equipment & Maintain and organize work area;
• Repairing seals on shipping containers
• Repair containers that are on the ground
• Repairing hardware on shipping containers
• Maintain an updated database based on repairs
• Minor welding on shipping containers
• Repairing floors on shipping containers
• Assist the maintenance team with repairs on machines or to fix equipment
• The person will be used in various areas of maintenance (bagging / bulk / pulp and general yard maintenance)
• Optimize the welding productivity by calling the Crane Operators when a row of damaged containers is almost completed

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Preventative maintenance, Forklift operation, any heavy-duty equipment operation (an asset)
• Must be willing to work outdoors throughout all weather conditions
• Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Attention to detail & organized
• Completion of Trade School (an asset)
• Must be comfortable with power tools
• 1 year of welding experience
• Welding Ticket (an asset)
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
