Salary: $100,000-$150,000 CAD + Bonus

The role:

My client are seeking a versatile individual who has strong experience working in a Trading / Banking environment to join their team.

The role focuses around a deep understanding of Trade Flow and it’s complexities, and involves deploying and integrating tools into this environment, whilst managing change workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Fully managing the change and control process for any changes to the Production environment
• Integrating solutions into the Production environment
• Decommissioning of legacy hardware and software
• Heavy liaison with a variety of different departments
• Project Managing implementations of new applications into Production environments and managing risks associated with these
• Working on go lives and associated documentation

Experience required:

• Good knowledge of Bash and a scripting language (ideally Python)
• Good knowledge of Linux
• Understanding of Trade Flow and associated technology
• Understanding of any Asset Classes such as Equities, Bonds, Derivatives, Currencies, Commodities, Fixed Income, FX etc.
• Strong Front Office experience, working within a Trading or Banking environment
• Any knowledge of FIX highly desirable

This is a very broad role with a wide array of technical and non-technical duties.
