Freelance Interior Designer Jobs

Roomme is expanding our brand beyond curating spaces that provide high returns for investors to working with VIP clientele to create a personal space that reflects character, comfort, and luxury. Roomme is looking for an Interior Designer who not only inspires our clients, but us as well. In addition to a keen eye for design, you are a driven self-starter with an out-of-the-box mentality. You are someone who does not see problems- only opportunities to be creative. You understand that no two clients are alike and each client requires a unique, personalized approach. While this position currently focuses on the furnishing aspect of design, there is no job within the scope of interior design that is off the table. Responsibilities

• Represent Roomme through communication, personal appearance and professionalism
• Produce design presentations and communicate design concepts, space planning and product selections
• Provide design expertise and execute large-scale design projects
• Own all phases of the client experience from consultations through delivery
• Maintain a strong interest in the luxury and design industry
• Provide a luxury experience for our clientele

Requirements

• Ability to travel locally
• Degree in Interior Design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other related space planning/rendering programs
• Ability to lift and move small to medium items up to 25 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Mac Operating System, IOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications
• Professional portfolio
• Highly organized and results-oriented
• 2+ years design experience within a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail
