The Company:

Our client is an exciting, cutting-edge publicly traded organization in the West GTA. Due to exciting growth, they are adding a Financial Reporting Analyst to the team. This is a hybrid position which requires 3 days/week in the office.

The Role

The Financial Reporting Analyst will report to the Manager of External Reporting and assist with the month end close. The Financial Reporting Analyst assists with the completion of consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting. You will perform variance analysis of actual results compared to budget and forecast and analyze trends. You will also play a key part of the annual audit process. Your strong IFRS knowledge provides you with the foundation to ensure that financial results are accurate.

What do you bring to the Role?

You are a designated CPA or in the late stages of the CPA program. You started your career in public accounting with either a Big 4 or Big 6 CPA firm where you audited publicly traded clients. You have hands-on IFRS experience from your audit clients. This is an excellent opportunity to jump from public accounting to industry as our client welcomes new CPA's and CPA students straight from public accounting. To be considered for this role, you should have 2+ years of public accounting experience and strong technical accounting knowledge. Strong Excel skills are required. If you recently passed the CFE or are in the process of preparing to write the CFE, this is an excellent opportunity to utilize your exceptionally strong technical accounting knowledge in a job you will love and jump to industry before the next busy season starts!
