WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Reporting to the Director of Merchandising, the Product Manager is responsible for the strategy, planning, selection, and purchase of products within the division. They will manage and execute all buying functions to maximize the effectiveness of the department and achieve the sales and market share objectives of the company. The ideal candidate has an exceptional eye for building curated assortments and the ability to execute a well-conceived product strategy. With the support of the assistant buyer, they will analyze sales, inventory levels and adjust as needed. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter that can create and implement new processes where needed within their function. In addition, they will need to build and maintain excellent relationships with all our internal cross-functional partners.

HOW WILL YOU DO IT?

• Identifies and formulates initiatives to optimize sales opportunities
• Analyze performance and plans to help identify sales and margins opportunities that can exceed plan
• Select products to create a consistent buying message that is true to the brand and supports the needs of both stores and wholesale markets
• Identify areas of opportunity within commodities, details and fabrics
• Analyze PB customer behavior and impact assortments based on Insights
• Manages workload and efficiency, coaches, trains and develops assistant buyer
• Perform competitive research and price benchmarking
• Develop business cases and rationale for future assortments
• Develop creative and innovative strategies to drive a business plan
• Ensures GTM milestones are met in a timely manner
• Feed the marketing and creative teams with buy information in the support of seasonal campaigns and visual merchandising
• Identify areas of opportunity, shifts in business etc, based on sales, data analytics and trends

Who You Are

• Bachelor or College degree related fields
• 5 years experience in a similar role
