External Manufacturing Associate Jobs

This position will be based out of Skillman, New Jersey, Markham, Ontario or Guelph, Ontario and report directly to the Senior Manager, MAKE Excellence.

What will you do

The External Manufacturing Associate is responsible for supporting management of purchase orders for external manufacturing team, performance management reporting and data analytics to enable External Manufacturing site performance on cost, quality, delivery and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage transactional work for purchase orders, raw material authorization and SLOB across the full EM MAKE Team.
• Support External Manufacturing MAKE team in weekly operational performance reviews and on continuous improvement projects.
• Execute monthly dashboards and analytics processes to track EM performance, activities and key performance metrics.
• Perform analytics to support agility, quality, customer service and cost improvements initiatives across the network to achieve top line and bottom-line targets.
• Support project teams to identify and execute process improvements with targeted External Manufacturers to improve cost, quality, service and cash flow.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Dependable and reliable.
• Strong sense of urgency.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ideally other analytical tools.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a Technical or Supply Chain Related Degree.
• Highly motivated self-starter.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships with internal and external business partners to meet tactical and strategic business needs is required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects/responsibilities at the same time.
• Willingness to investigate, solve, and leverage data to develop recommendations. Ability to identify and implement process improvements.

Desired Qualifications

• Up to three years of experience in a supply chain analytical environment is preferred. This is includes the following areas: Supply Chain/Operations, Contract Manufacturing, Internal Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain Sourcing, Supply Planning and/or Analytics.
• Experience developing and managing analytical reports for large scale reports within the team.
• Analytical mindset and data analysis skills including demonstrated ability to manage large data sets with efficiency.
• Experience working with a business environment focused on continuous improvement and exposure to continuous improvement concepts is preferred.
