JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
(Internal Role - Project Administration III):
- Finding and booking event spaces
- Managing the organization of multiple events at once
- Participate in, record, produce and distribute meeting minutes as required
- Managing payments to venues and vendors
- Advise the project team or business unit on best practices related to event logistics and protocols
- Managing meeting logistics, such as AV, printing, catering, and transportation of people and materials
- Preparing, reviewing, proofreading, editing, and issuing letters, reports, transmittals, spreadsheets, etc.
- Booking advertising space and organizing leafleting
- Responsible for planning and executing events, including meetings, town halls, roundtables, workshops, etc.
- Briefing attendees on logistics and managing presentations/content
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Education:
- College Degree or certification of equivalent business experience and /or training
Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in event planning, photography, videography, project administration or administrative work experience
Skills:
- Computer proficiency in MS Office applications in particular – MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, SharePoint, etc.
- Proficient in other specialized software to support administrative services, as required.
Competencies:
- Experience in a similar role
- Experienced photographer/videographer with over 8 years of experience
- Written and verbal communications
- Construction experience beneficial
- Portfolio of previous work needed
- Post-production skills including editing
- Prior experience with drone operation is an asset
- Possess lighting knowledge ie: light placement, light diffusion, etc
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Have a full understanding of shooting photos in Manual and, an understanding of Videography and frame rates
- Adaptable to changing requirements
- Proficient with Adobe Suite especially Photoshop, After Effects, and Premier Pro
- Must have own transportation and be willing to work some unsociable hours
- Utilize technical skills and creativity to capture high-quality, professional photographs and videos of corporate events
- Proficient with DSLR cameras and video equipment
