Well, we are exclusively partnered with a hypergrowth company in the HealthTech space that is building optimal ventilators that are non-invasive, can be brought to the patient's beside adn is able to give insights on the patient's heart and lung dynamics near real-time.

They are looking for a manager to report directly into the COO and oversee the engineering team.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Manages staff and assigns tasks to engineering and technical personnel.
• Communicates technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including investors and potential customers.
• Designs, implements and refines product development, testing and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional stake holders such as R&D, Marketing, QA/RA, Service, Manufacturing, PMO to ensure alignment on project scope, design control documentation, quality and schedule
• Oversees project logistics and resource allocation
• Working with the COO and Project Manager in developing engineering milestones.
• Helps to create and oversee project budgets and engages in cost management strategies.
• Assures that processes and documentation meet quality and applicable regulatory guidelines, including MDR and FDA CFR requirements.
• Be involved in Internal Auditing processes to ensure compliance with and assist in improving and demonstrating internal Quality processes.

Qualifications:

• Good understanding of Design FMEA, drafting standards and GD&T.
• Data analytics skills and experience.
• Experience working inside regulated industry with ISO 9000/9001/13485 quality management systems required, Knowledge of the design requirements as per 21 CFR 820.
• Experience in design control and various country regulations, including FDA and EU.
• Medical device experience, PMP certification, Engineering Management degree, or MBA are a plus.
• Masters degree or higher in engineering.
• Expert-level knowledge of med tech and processes
• Minimum 5 years leadership experience involving direct management responsibilities for direct reports required.
• Experience with 14971 Risk Management.
• A strong cross-functional technical background in Software engineering for Medical Devices. Experience in manufacturing engineering, including DFM (Design for Manufacturability, process excellence methodologies, Six Sigma, Lean, supplier development and process validation.
• Organized and self-motivated in a fast-paced environment. Write clear, data driven technical summaries, and test reports.
• 10+ years of progressive experience leading medical device tech development, design for manufacturer and scale up from pilot to full manufacturing production.
