Responsibilities

NB Power's Nuclear division is seeking to fill vacancies within various teams including Design, Engineering Fix-It-Now, Procurement Engineering. Systems and Computer Design. Various experience levels will be considered for the selected candidates.

Qualifications

We are seeking Teammates with the following education, training, and qualifications

Bachelor of Science or Applied Science in Engineering in one of the following:

Electrical

Mechanical

Chemical

Civil

Computer Science

• Registered, or eligibility for Registration, as a Professional Engineer or Member in Training in the Province of New Brunswick
• Your total years of work-related experience following graduation
• Any areas of specialized expertise you have such as nuclear, maintenance, design, and procurement/supply chain.
• Your field experience in an electrical utility or other heavy industrial setting

An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.

Due to security requirements at Canadian Nuclear facilities, the successful candidate will require a Site Access Security Clearance which includes verification of background information, references, a Criminal Record Name Check and a Canadian Security Intelligence Service security recommendation.

An Eligibility List generated from this competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a period of up to 12 months.
