Who we are looking for:
AEM Antennas is looking for an Antenna Engineer who has an entrepreneurial drive to work closely with customers and hands-on experience to drive the project forward using state-of-the-art tools.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Supervise and review tests to ensure projects meet the specification
- Manage suppliers to ensure careful manufacturing and assembly of antenna products
- Use an array of design tools to model antennas and predict their performance
- Project management tasks to verify and report project progress in terms of time, cost, and schedule
- Work on R&D efforts and prepare proposals for future projects
- Any other tasks related to the above
- Collaborate with customers in design reviews
Qualifications
- Familiar with RF lab test equipment and tools (required)
- Strong background in passive electromagnetics (required)
- Member of a Canadian professional engineering organization (required)
- Knowledge in project management standard practices and tools (MS project, JIRA, Asana, etc.) (preferred)
- 3+ years working experience as an RF or antenna engineer (required)
- Background in multi-disciplinary projects including working with mechanical, thermal, and structural engineering (preferred)
- Master’s degree or above in electrical engineering or relevant discipline (required)
- Programming knowledge in multiple languages such as python, matlab, batch, shell, c/c++ (preferred)
- Comfortable with electromagnetic simulation tools like HFSS, FEKO, CST and circuit simulation software like Ansys Electronics Desktop, ADS, Qucs Studio (required)
Additional Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English (required) and French (preferred)
- Ability to work well with customers and multi-disciplinary teams worldwide

- Willingness to travel to meet potential and current customers
