The new hospital will honor the legacy of the 125-year-old St. Paul's Hospital, by providing the people of Vancouver with improved access to life-saving healthcare, while remaining committed to training hundreds of medical students from across the province. The new facility will be nearly double the size of the existing St. Paul's Hospital, and construction began in the summer of 2022.

Plan Group is currently looking to grow our Electrical Construction team with the addition of qualified Journeyperson Electricians in our Vancouverlocation
To truly excel in this role you are able to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients. You have the ability to leverage your strong communication and leadership skills to positively influence others and drive for results.
As an Electrical Journeyperson, you will be asked to do the following:
Installing conduits using a hand, mechanical or hydraulic bender
Install new wire in existing systems or repairing old wiring
Installing fire alarm, security, lighting controls, data/telecom and energy management systems
Mounting panel boards, transformers, switch gear, transfer switches and other types of equipment
Rough in and finish wiring control systems
Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical control circuits for motors and control devices.
Layout job on site per specs & drawings with the ability to make quick decisions
Provide technical expertise to apprentices.
Qualifications
Inter Provincial Red Seal Qualification
Experience on Commercial / New Construction projects
Current AWP or EWP Certificate
Current WAHCertificate
Reliable Transportation
