In exceptional cases, the company may consider candidates with less qualifications if they possess substantial welding experience.

Welder Red Seal or recognized equivalent Trade Qualification.

Minimum of 30 months documented welding experience.

CWB All Position SMAW Welding Ticket to visual and X-Ray Standards with at least 6 months remaining validity.

CWB All Position FCAW Welding Ticket to Visual and X-Ray Standards with at least 6 months remaining validity.

Proof of recent use of the above processes within the 3 months prior to hire.

Must possess construction and industrial electricalexperience.

Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.

Tests electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.

Fabricates, installs and/or runs conduit, 3-Phase work, motor terminations, control and instrument troubleshooting and panel work.

Must be a Certified Electrical Journeyperson

Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.

Extensive SAP Experience/ Microsoft Office an asset

Journeyperson Electrical certificate or Red Seal Certification

VFD, and control experience is considered an asset

5kV and 13.8kV experience is a MUST HAVE

Minimum 8 years of experience in an industrial / mining environment

Knowledge of mining and high voltage systems an asset

A valid Inter-Provincial or Provincial journeyperson electrical trade certificate, with preferably 5-8 years relevant industrial work experience

Electrical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Outstanding team player and team building skills

Prepare electrical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends, and making recommendations as necessary for improvements.

Optimization of PLC and DCS performance.

Minimum 4 year's experience in residential renovations/upgrades/new construction

Strong organizational skills for both managing your time on a work site and keeping accurate notes

Outside the box thinking and willingness to learn & adapt to company expectations on job requirements

Industrial/Commercial experience ( Not Required)

Reliable & energetic individual with a positive attitude

Ability to work neatly and at a reasonable pace while maintaining quality, and leave a job site clean.

Pull test equipment as part of recertification

Ensuring all required parts and components for recertification are in stock or on order

Experience in moving, assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of machinery and equipment

Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware

NDT or CWB certification or experience is an asset

Two (2) years of experience performing duties related to the above mentioned major responsibilities

Demonstrated experience within an arboriculture and/or urban forestry work environment

Demonstrate professional experience pruning and removing all sizes of hazardous trees

Demonstrated experience performing all tree maintenance/arboriculture duties in accordance to the International Society of Arboriculture

Demonstrated professional experience operating chain saws, pole saws, bucket trucks, crane trucks, and chippers

Working knowledge of the following principles and standards: all aspects of urban arboriculture; chainsaw maintenance

Interprovincial Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification

Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail

Previous repair and troubleshooting experience with Caterpillar general line products would be considered an asset

Troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar general line equipment

Perform a wide variety of equipment repair diagnostics

Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily

Good verbal communication, interpersonal and time management skills

4+ years electrical construction industry experience

Action oriented, get the job done and get it done right attitude

Foresee issues with construction progress and addresses them swiftly

Participates in creating electrical layouts and work plans and executes those plans

Problem solving with the end user in mind

HVAC and/or Refrigeration experience or certification is a definite asset to the position

Previous experience working in remote camp setting.

Solid verbal and written communication skills in English.

Perform plumbing and general maintenance to gas appliances and lines

Maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, drinking water treatment and distribution system

Practice and promote company environmental, health, safety, and operational policies and procedures

Knowledge of record keeping processes and procedures and maintaining inventories within a computerized inventory management system.

Considerable knowledge of receiving, stocking, tagging and issuing supplies in a computerized stores operation.

Knowledge and ability to apply up-to-date accounting functions and parts procurement procedures as required by current purchasing procedures.

Must possess or be able to obtain certification as a Forklift operator.

Requisitions, receives, stores, issues, and inventories a wide variety of stock and non-stock parts.

A valid Inter-Provincial or BC Provincial Journeyperson Carpenter certification
