Job Description
The eHealth Program Coordinator will support the eHealth Program in the delivery of Regional eHealth projects and initiatives ensuring strong project communications, documentation and reporting , throughout the delivery / lifecycles of various projects and program requirements.
  • Supports the coordination of eHealth Office programs and services as well as ongoing program development and
measurable evaluation
  • Draft and manage project and program management artifacts, such as status reports, action, issue, risk, decision
reporting.
  • Coordinating a variety of program information and metrics, and ensuring ongoing accuracy of same
  • Development of business cases, proposals, options papers, briefing notes and other program communications as
required and maintain resource materials
  • Maintaining regional eHealth solution and program roadmaps
  • Follow-up on team member commitments and proactively identify risks.
  • Manage small work packages as required.
  • Assisting with business case preparation and Regional eHealth program roadmap development and maintenance.
  • Follow standard delivery methodologies.
  • Monitor specific deliverables and timelines, communications as an integral member of the team; issues and risk
  • Ensure all documentation follows appropriate standards, is version controlled and loaded onto central project sites.
  • Development and management of a contacts database and maintenance of up to date records
  • Coordinate with the eHealth Team members to ensure adherence to timelines, budget and stakeholder requirements.

  • Demonstrated experience managing across full solution development lifecycle
  • Knowledge or experience of the Health Sector and/or government is an asset
  • Ability to multi-task, manage tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Access to a personal vehicle and a valid Ontario drivers license
  • Ability to work independently and ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferred
  • Strong organizational and planning skills and attention to detail
  • 5+ years of related work experience managing and coordinating multiple projects
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Ability to determine priorities, be self-directed and work with minimal supervision
  • Support the development and maintenance of training and support documentation and related assets for distribution as well as promotional literature for distribution via newsletters, brochures or flyers
  • Familiarity with MS Office and Project, Sharepoint, Portfolio Management (Eclipse an asset)

Unit Summary
The Health Information Technology Services (HITS) eHealth Office at HHS manages a variety of services to support innovation and transformation of eHealth including strategic planning, stakeholder relations, communication, change management, business analysis, program management, training and privacy expertise. HITS is the solution provider responsible for operating ClinicalConnect™ , a secure web-based portal used by health care providers across south west Ontario, and the eHealth Office also acts as Change Agents, working with health service providers across the region to
adopt digital health solutions. In addition, the HITS eHealth Office is also responsible for the implementation of regional facing patient access channels being made available in south west Ontario.
Schedule Work Hours
Monday to Friday, 9-5 with after hours or weekend work as required.
This position is temporary until March 2024.
