Job Description
Mission / Purpose of Position


Investigation of engineered components in bill of material on cost optimization potential as well


for toolings and product specific invest. Realization and implementation of defined potentials in alignment with Category Management,


Advanced Purchasing and Plant Purchasing.


RESPONSIBILITY / TASKS


>Coordinating and planning regional divisional relevant CVA programs


> Align and assign tasks according DIV/BU/PL needs inside ww P CVA organization


> Lead and excecute supplier workshops in order to realize cost savings together with


BU Purchasing, Advanced Purchasing and Category Purchasing


>Support R&D/ Industry Engineering workshops in order to realize cost savings by design


optimization (Design for manufacturing), and benchmarking competitor's design and cost


>Support Quality in problem solving in the field of expertise by coaching and train suppliers


>Control, report the realized savings to Purchasing Management by Scorecard


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (Minimum)


>University degree, mechanical technician or Manufacturing Engineering with


economic Background


>Minimum 10 years working experience in manufacturing industry


>Basic or expert knowledge in Cost and Value Analysis


>Technical knowledge Injection Molding, Stamping and/or Machining processes


>Experience in mechanical manufacturing systems


>Strong moderation and communication skills


>Fluently in English


>Basic calculation knowledge


>Negotiation skills, proactive problem solving


>Project Management: capability to lead interdisciplinary teams


>Capability to negotiate and operate in different cultures
